The atmosphere is casual, the vibe is family-friendly, and the experience revolves around good food and an easygoing dining style. From the moment you sit down and browse the menu, it’s clear this restaurant focuses on classic flavors and hearty dishes that keep people coming back.

One of the highlights on the menu is the Fried Fresh Cod Fish, a dish that perfectly represents the kitchen’s approach. The fish arrives crisp on the outside while remaining tender and flaky inside. It’s simple, satisfying, and exactly what you want from a coastal Greek restaurant. Another standout is the Mussel Spaghetti, where fresh mussels are paired with pasta for a dish that feels both comforting and flavorful. The balance between seafood and pasta makes it a favorite choice for many diners checking reviews before visiting.

For those exploring traditional Greek cuisine, the menu also features beloved classics like Moussaka and Χωριάτικη salad. The Moussaka delivers those familiar layers of flavor-rich, filling, and unmistakably Greek. Meanwhile, the Χωριάτικη brings freshness to the table, offering a bright combination of ingredients that works perfectly as a starter or side. It’s the kind of dish that complements almost everything else on the menu.

Seafood lovers often gravitate toward the Octopus Chobotnice, another signature item that adds variety to the restaurant’s offerings. It’s a dish that highlights the coastal influence of Ammoudia dining, making the menu feel authentic and well-rounded. Together, these dishes show why Ta Kimata earns positive attention in many restaurant reviews from visitors exploring food options in the area.

Beyond the food, Ta Kimata keeps the dining experience simple and convenient. The restaurant serves alcohol, making it easy to pair drinks with your meal, whether you’re enjoying seafood or a traditional Greek dish. Payments are straightforward as well, with debit cards and credit cards accepted, which makes things easier for travelers and locals alike.

Families feel comfortable here, and the casual setting makes it a good stop whether you’re planning a full dinner or simply exploring local restaurant locations around Ammoudia. The combination of approachable service, well-known Greek dishes, and seafood favorites gives the menu a balanced appeal.

What customers say?

“ I’d read the reviews on Google so I thought, let’s try a place where the owner is a fisherman. Well it was amazing. Like eating at your friend’s house. Freshly caught and cooked fish. Not fancy just so so delicious and well cooked. A little meze then snapper and cod. Good house white wine and lovely people. It’s what travelling and eating overseas is all about. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ”

“ This restaurant was so nice. The food was excellent the staff were so sweet and the atmosphere was stunning. They didn't have dessert but I got so filled from just the main dish. Also it was 44 euro for 4 people and drinks included ”

“ Delicious authentic fresh and I mean fresh fish experience. I had the best fresh prawns ever and my husband had fresh sardines. Gorgeous chips and a simple tomato and cucumber salad. All washed down with local rose. The staff are great too. Highly recommend if you are in Ammoudia. As you can see we ate the lot! ”

“ We were at a large table of 9 people, and everyone got different portions of food, everything was excellent. We ate fried squid, fish platter, mousaka, a stuffed eggplant stew, grilled octopus. Don't hesitate to enter this restaurant. This is what the plates look like after we're done eating ”

- alina chiriches -

“ Maybe the best value for money. The food was very delicious, probably the best squid we’ve tried in the region. Lovely atmosphere with beautiful decoration and paintings in the wall. The only thing that is disappointing was the service, the boy that served us two times made a couple of mistakes in the orders and respectfully in the bill, not sure how the counts get right in the end of the day but hopefully he will learn and doesn’t look that confused. ”

- Diana Ilieva-Dragomirova -

“ I do not know, what is Greater - the people, that own this place or the place! Best food/fish etc ever and all served with a smile and positive attitude. Fish - as fresh as possible - as the owner is a fishermen as well and if you stay a bit latter you may see him coming with the catch. The daughter speak - English, German and I guess Italian so another 5 points! Will visit you soon again! ”
